Claire Weisz is a seasoned architecture and urban design professional with a significant presence in New York City. Currently serving as a Board Member for both the Regional Plan Association and + POOL, Weisz has also held the position of Founding Partner at WXY Architecture and Urban Design since 2009, known for diverse architectural and planning projects. From 2008 to May 2023, Weisz was an Adjunct Associate Professor at New York University's Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service and has contributed as a studio critic at Yale University School of Architecture. Previously, Weisz was a Co-Executive Director at the Design Trust for Public Space and co-founded Weisz and Warchol, specializing in architecture and interiors. Weisz's educational background includes a Master of Architecture from Yale University and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Toronto.
