Susan Sparks

Susan Sparks has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Susan has held various executive and management roles in different companies. Susan's most recent position was as the Director of Emerging Markets at REI Systems, a role they started in 2022. From 2016 to 2022, Susan worked at ManTech as the Executive Director of Enterprise IT Solutions, where they managed strategic planning, program management, business development, and service delivery for a $208M federal contract.

Before that, Susan was the Cloud Assured Operations Manager at SMX from 2015 to 2016, where they optimized cloud operations for multiple clients and implemented continuous process improvements. From 2014 to 2015, as the Principal Program Manager at CSC, Susan managed end-to-end operations for a $120M portfolio for a government agency, focusing on software acquisition, compliance, and vendor contract management.

Prior to that, Susan worked as a Senior Program Director at InfoZen from 2013 to 2014, leading the migration of NASA web assets and applications to an AWS cloud environment. Susan also had leadership roles at Perot Systems, J.P. Morgan, Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island, and Network Plus. Susan's expertise lies in program management, operations, strategic planning, and client relationship management.

Susan Sparks obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Computer Science from Salve Regina University, where they studied from 1987 to 1991. In terms of additional certifications, they have obtained various qualifications throughout their career. These include an IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL) V4 from PeopleCert in May 2021, a SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in March 2021, a Certified SAFe® 4 Agilist certification from Scaled Agile Framework Certification Training in February 2019, and a ManTech Technical Elite certification from ManTech in February 2019. Susan also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification from the Project Management Institute, which they obtained in May 2005. Additionally, Susan has a Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK) from the Cloud Security Alliance and an IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL) V3 from ACQUIROS, Inc., although the specific dates of obtaining these certifications are unknown. Furthermore, they have a Scrum Master certification from the Scrum Alliance, although the date of obtaining this certification is also unknown.
