Riaan Dreyer

Riaan Dreyer is an experienced professional with a diverse background in technology and finance. Currently serving as a Board Member at Reiknistofa bankanna RB and ISB Development Center Poland, Riaan has held the position of Chief Digital and Data Officer at Íslandsbanki since September 2019. Previous roles include Head of Software Development at Arion banki and VP Engineering at Meniga. Riaan's extensive career also features key positions such as CIO at Standard Bank Group and Liberty Group South Africa, alongside academic contributions as a lecturer at the University of Johannesburg. Riaan has advanced qualifications including a Diploma in Artificial Intelligence for Business from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and a Master’s Degree in Information Technology from the University of Pretoria, complemented by degrees in Economics and Actuarial Science.
