Steven Kearnes

Steven Kearnes is an experienced professional in the field of artificial intelligence and research, currently serving as the Director of AI Research at Relay Therapeutics. Kearnes is also a Co-Founder and Governing Committee Member of the Open Reaction Database. Previously, Kearnes held multiple roles at Google, including Senior Research Scientist, Research Scientist, and Software Engineer, as well as an intern at Vertex Pharmaceuticals and a Software Engineering Intern at Google. Kearnes earned a PhD in Structural Biology from Stanford University in 2016 and a BS in Biochemistry from Brigham Young University in 2011.
