Iker Garagarza

Iker Garagarza has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades in various roles and industries.

Starting their career at Sofnetix Oy as a Software Specialist, they worked there for six years.

Iker then joined Tieto as a Senior Software Engineer, where they were involved in system architecture, requirements specifications, and management for the development of a Network Management System product family.

Later, they transitioned to Senior Project Manager, overseeing projects for major customers in the telecom, retail, and insurance sectors. Iker was responsible for the rollout of a new service for all customers.

At Tieto, they also held the position of Senior Product Manager, where they led the strategy and development of global data protection and recovery services.

In 2019, they joined Nordea as a Product Manager, leading the Technology and Infrastructure unit of the Core Banking Programme. Iker'sresponsibilities included managing required technology services and developing a development Platform as a Service.

Currently, Iker Garagarza is serving as the Head of Product Management at RELEX Solutions since 2023.

Iker Garagarza holds a Master's degree in Computer Engineering, which they obtained from Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea from 1994 to 2000. Additionally, in 1999-2000, they pursued studies in Information Technology at the University of Oulu. Throughout their career, Iker has obtained various certifications, including SAFe 5 Agile Product Manager, SAFe 5 Product Owner/Product Manager, SAFe 5 Certified Agilist, IPMA level C certification, Certified Scrum Master, and a Software Architecture Professional Certificate. Iker has also attained the Knowledge Leader designation from the Leadership Pipeline Institute.
