Rida Tariq Salam

Rida Tariq Salam has a diverse range of work experience. Rida Tariq began their career as a Local Organizer for the 10th Global Students Forum (SPEED) in 2014. In the following year, they became a Secretary for the AUD International Aid Society. In 2015, Rida interned at Siemens in the Energy Solutions, Module and Project Engineering, Power and Gas, Proposal Department. Rida Tariq also worked as a Smart Lab Intern at The Assembly and founded and mentored the AUD Women in STEM Mentorship Program.

Moving forward, Rida became a Teaching Assistant at the American University in Dubai in 2016 and later joined TU Dortmund University as a Graduate Research Assistant. Rida Tariq further gained industry experience as an Intern and worked on their Master's Thesis at Robert Bosch GmbH in 2018.

From 2019 to 2022, Rida worked as a Machine Learning and Computer Vision Engineer at Virtual Retail GmbH. Currently, in 2022, they are employed as a Machine Learning Engineer at rellify.

Rida Tariq Salam completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the American University in Dubai from 2012 to 2016. Afterwards, they pursued a Master's degree in Automation and Robotics at TU Dortmund University from 2016 to 2019.
