Jia Liu

Jia Liu has worked in a number of roles since 2009. From 2009-2018, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at Wuhan University, where they developed a series of injectable hydrogels and investigated their use in biomedical fields. Jia also synthesized fluorescent tracer and drug carrier nano particle systems and developed a bench-top trial of super high molecular weight polyacrylate sodium. From 2018-2021, they worked as a Senior Assistant & Executive Secretary of Research Ethics Board (REB) at The University Hong Kong - Shenzhen Hospital. Currently, they are a Senior Research and Development Engineer at RELX Technology.

Jia Liu graduated from Southwest University in 2008 with a Bachelor's degree in Applied Chemistry. Jia then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Polymer Chemistry & Physics at Wuhan University, which they completed in 2016.
