Michael Youssef

Michael Youssef has a diverse and extensive work experience in the hospitality industry. Michael has held various leadership positions in financial management and accounting.

Starting in 1986, Youssef worked as a Cost Controller for Adam's Mark Hotels, where they managed financial functions and oversaw general accounting.

In 1990, they joined Lane Hospitality as an Internal Audit Manager, where they developed audit programs, conducted financial and operational audits, and assessed risks.

Youssef then joined Sofitel Luxury Hotels and Resorts in 1994 as a Controller, and later moved to Accor, where they served as a Regional Controller. In these roles, they advised executives and managers on budgeting and expenses, supervised accounting staff, and ensured compliance with financial regulations.

In 2013, Youssef joined Highgate as a Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller. Michael played a key role in financial management, reporting, and analysis for a portfolio of hotels. Michael also provided financial advice and guidance to general managers, partners, and owners. Michael'sresponsibilities included due diligence and financial analysis preparation.

Following their tenure at Highgate, Youssef joined MCR Hotels in 2021 as the Vice President of Accounting. Michael held this position until 2023.

Currently, Youssef is working at Remington Hospitality as the Vice President of Accounting.

Michael Youssef received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Purchasing, Procurement/Acquisitions and Contracts Management, and a Bachelor of Science - BS degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Houston, where they studied from 1982 to 1986.
