Alice Chia

Alice Chia has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Alice started their career in 1989 as a Personnel Officer at Jurong Town Corporation, where they were responsible for training administration and reporting. Alice then joined Mc Gregor Sea & Air Services in 1991 as a Regional Training Executive, where they developed training programs and delivered training to staff. In 1994, Alice joined Texas Instruments as a Senior Training & Development Administrator, managing a staff of two and delivering training programs for supervisory level staff. Alice worked at Motorola Electronics Pte Ltd from 1996 to 2001, holding various roles including Learning Solution Manager, Training Manager, and HR Manager. From 2001 to 2008, Alice worked for Panasonic AVC Singapore Pte Ltd as the General Manager of HR. Their most recent position was with REC, a solar manufacturing company, where they served as the Director/Senior Director of HR from 2008 to the present. In this role, they supported the overall operations of modules, cells, and technology functions, reporting directly to the VP of HR.

Alice Chia completed their Master's Degree in Educational Psychology from Indiana State University from 1985 to 1989. Prior to that, they obtained their A Levels in the Arts Stream from TIGS, Malaysia from 1980 to 1984. Alice also holds a certification in Strategic Thinking from LinkedIn, which was obtained in 2022.
