Carl Georgeson

Carl Georgeson has a diverse work experience spanning across various roles and industries. Carl started their career in 2005 at the NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA), where they held multiple positions including deputy team manager and finance assistant. In 2011, they joined RSM Tenon (now RSM UK) as an audit assistant, gaining exposure to small and medium-sized enterprises. In 2014, Carl joined Deloitte as an audit manager, working with clients across different sectors and countries, including the US, Denmark, Poland, India, and Germany. In 2017, they joined RES, a global renewable energy company, initially as a group financial reporting accountant, responsible for technical accounting queries and leading IFRS transitions. Carl then moved on to become an FP&A manager, overseeing financial planning and analysis for various business units. Carl's most recent role at RES is as vice president and financial controller, where they lead the accounting, tax, and shared services divisions for RES Americas.

Carl Georgeson obtained their LLB (Hons) Solicitors Exempting Law Degree from Northumbria University, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Carl then pursued further education at ICAEW from 2011 to 2014, where they obtained ACA Qualified status.
