John Menton has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. John is currently the Director and Investor at RentalMatics and Zeus Scooters, respectively. Previously, they worked as the Managing Partner at Discus Partnership. Prior to that, John held multiple roles at Arthur Cox, including Partner and Head of Corporate/Commercial Departments. John also served as the Resident Counsel in New York and was the head of the New York office. John's legal expertise focused on assisting US corporations establish operations in Ireland. Additionally, they represented Ireland as an Olympian in Discus at the 2000 Olympic Games.

John Menton attended Terenure College from 1977 to 1988 for their secondary education. John then went on to study at University College Dublin from 1988 to 1991, where they earned a degree in Law specializing in Intellectual Property and Corporate Law. In 1993, John attended the Law Society of Ireland and completed the required education to qualify as a solicitor, focusing on Law as an Irish Lawyer. John further enhanced their expertise by becoming an Irish Trade Mark Agent in 1995. Later in their career, John pursued executive education programs at Harvard Business School, completing the Leading Professional Services Firms program in 2015 and the Venture Capital and Private Equity Program in 2019.
