Principal Entomologist, Science And Innovation at Rentokil

Sudip Gaire, PhD, currently serves as the Vice President-Elect of the Medical Urban & Veterinary Section at the Entomological Society of America and holds the position of Principal Entomologist in Science and Innovation at Rentokil Initial, where responsibilities include leading innovation and product development for urban pest solutions. Previously, Sudip was a Product Development Entomologist at Central Life Sciences, where projects focused on insecticide efficacy studies. As a Postdoctoral Research Scholar at the University of Kentucky, Sudip investigated insecticide resistance in German cockroaches. Sudip's academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Entomology from Purdue University, where a dissertation on bed bug toxicology was completed, as well as a Master's degree from New Mexico State University, focusing on essential oils' effects on cockroaches. Additional experience includes serving as an IPM Facilitator in Nepal, highlighting expertise in integrated pest management and educational roles throughout various academic settings.
