Marco Ionata

Marco Ionata has over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting roles. Marco currently serves as the Director of Finance at Repare Therapeutics since April 2021. Prior to their current role, Marco worked at Gildan for 12 years, where they held the position of Director- Consolidation and External Reporting. Before that, they were the Chief Accountant at Rolls-Royce Canada for a year. Marco also has experience as an Assistant Controller at SR Telecom and as an Audit Manager at KPMG Montreal.

Marco Ionata completed their education at McGill University - Desautels Faculty of Management, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce - BCom degree in Accounting and Finance in 1998. Marco also holds a certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the Ordre des CPAs du Québec, although the specific year or month of obtaining this certification is unknown.
