Scientist II at Replay Therapeutics

Elizabeth Vink has a diverse work experience in the field of scientific research. Elizabeth is currently working as a Scientist II at Replay since 2022. Prior to this, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at NYU Langone Health from September 2013 to December 2021, where they conducted research on enforced mTORC1 signaling and the contribution of host ribosomal proteins to HSV-1 replication and mRNA translation.

Before their postdoctoral role, they were a Doctoral Student at Stony Brook University from August 2006 to August 2013. During this time, they pursued their research in the field of unfolded protein response and studied XBP1 mRNA splicing and the role of ATF6 in ER expansion during UPR.

Elizabeth also gained research experience as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the University of Michigan. From June 2004 to July 2006, they worked in the laboratory of Dr. Randal J. Kaufman, focusing on the unfolded protein response. Prior to that, from September 2002 to August 2003, they worked in the laboratory of Dr. D. Andrew Merriwether, contributing to research projects in an undergraduate capacity.

Elizabeth Vink obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Michigan College of Literature, Science, and the Arts, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Genetics at Stony Brook University from 2006 to 2013.
