James Ocola is an experienced professional in public health and project management, currently serving as a Project Coordinator at Reproductive Health Uganda since March 2019. In this role, key responsibilities include consortium engagement, project planning and programming, financial management, and advocacy. Prior to this, James held the position of Programme Officer at African Initiatives for Relief and Development, where responsibilities included humanitarian response and liaising with stakeholders. Additional experience includes serving as Regional Global Fund Officer at PACE and Extension Worker at Straight Talk Foundation, focusing on capacity building and community mobilization. James Ocola holds a Master’s degree in Public Health from Uganda Martyrs University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management from Uganda Management Institute, and a Bachelor of Social Work with Children, Families, and Communities from Uganda Christian University.
