Nikki Morris-Laing has extensive work experience in various roles related to marketing and media. Nikki is currently working at ResDiary as the Head of Digital Marketing & Growth B2C UK. In this role, they are responsible for defining the B2C strategy and overseeing the company's strategic projects. Prior to this, Nikki worked at Hampton as the Head of Strategy, where they were involved in preparing proposals for new business and leading marketing campaigns. Nikki also worked at VisitAberdeenshire as the Head of Marketing, where they delivered the destination strategy and devised the marketing strategy and annual campaign plan. Nikki's earlier roles include working as the Radio Station Manager at Station House Media Unit, Development Worker at Cambuslang and Rutherglen Community Health Initiative, and Station Manager at East Renfrewshire Council and Volunteer Centre South Ayrshire. In these roles, they were responsible for managing all aspects of community radio stations, including recruitment, training, and support for staff and volunteers.

Nikki Morris-Laing BA MCIM attended James Hamilton Academy from 1996 to 2002. Nikki then pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Media: Theory with Production at the University of the West of Scotland from 2002 to 2005.
