Sorrel Namaste, MHS, DrPH, currently serves as the Deputy Project Director for the NuMERAL project at RTI International, focusing on enhancing nutrition outcomes through health systems and local engagement. Previously, at The Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS) Program, Sorrel Namaste worked as a Senior Technical Advisor, leading innovations in nutrition data collection and representing the program in global forums. Prior experience includes serving as the SPRING Team Lead for Anemia at Helen Keller International, co-leading the BRINDA research project at the National Institutes of Health, and contributing as a field researcher for both the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the United Nations World Food Programme. Educational qualifications include a Master of Health Science in Global Epidemiology from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a Doctorate in Public Health from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
