Machine Learning Engineer at Resolution Games

Aref Moradi has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2014, they worked as a Developer at RAPNA(Rayan Pardazan Nikro Emertat). Aref then moved on to Golrang Industrial Group in 2015, where they served as an Android Developer and Project Manager. In 2016, they joined 6thSolution Technologies as an Android Developer Intern, where they learned about MVP and MVVM patterns for Android development.

In 2016, Aref joined Cafe Bazaar as an Android Developer, and later took on roles as a Scrum Master and Data Scientist/Engineer in Divar's chat team. During their time at Cafe Bazaar, they worked on A/B testing, resolved communication problems within the team, and gained experience in business analytics.

In 2018, Aref became a Software Engineer at PhaseFour, where they worked until 2019. Later in 2019, they co-founded SpotYet, where they served as a Fullstack Developer and Co-Founder.

In 2019, Aref also joined Klarna as a Machine Learning Engineer. Their responsibilities at Klarna included research, evaluation, and implementation of NLP and Computer Vision models for content tagging, creation, and moderation in targeted ads for Klarna customers. Aref also set up model training and deployment pipelines using Jenkins and AWS services.

In 2020, Aref worked as a Machine Learning Research Engineer at Klarna, where they implemented state-of-the-art Deep Learning methods and made significant contributions to the team's research paper. Aref also worked as a Master Thesis Intern, collaborating with IVL on building a carbon emissions estimator for textile products using TensorFlow v2.

Most recently, Aref joined Resolution Games in 2023 as a Machine Learning Engineer, where they currently work.

Aref Moradi completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering at Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic from 2013 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma in Physics and Mathematics from AllamehHelli from 2009 to 2013. Aref then pursued a Master's degree in Data Science at the Eindhoven University of Technology from 2018 to 2019, followed by another Master's degree in Data Science at KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 2019 to 2020. Additionally, they were part of the EIT Digital Alumni program from 2018 to 2020 while pursuing their Master's degree in Data Science.
