Weimin Yin

Weimin Yin is a highly experienced metallurgist currently serving as a Principal Metallurgist at Resonetics since October 2023 and at Saes Smart Materials, Inc. since March 2014, where roles have included Senior Metallurgist. Previous positions include Advanced Magnetics Program Manager at Arnold Magnetic Technologies and Principal Scientist in Research & Development at Materion Corporation, focusing on innovative manufacturing processes for novel deposition materials. Earlier experience also includes work as a Materials Engineer at Secat, Inc., specializing in the development of aluminum alloys for packaging applications. Weimin Yin holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science from the Polytechnic Institute of New York University, a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and a Master's degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
