Michael Nix

Michael NIX is an experienced energy, environment, and clean technology consultant with over 25 years of experience in policy advocacy, lobbying, and analysis. Currently serving as a MENC/Contract Consultant and Director of Outreach for Leonardo Academy, NIX has worked with various international and domestic entities including think tanks and government ministries on energy and environmental issues. With a robust history of representing corporations and trade associations before governmental bodies, NIX's expertise extends to analyzing policy impacts on legislation and regulations across multiple sectors. Previous roles include Senior Strategist at PJM Interconnection, President of MENC, federal affairs representative at Wisconsin Electric Power Company, and Legislative Director for Congressman Les Aspin. NIX holds an MA in International Affairs from The George Washington University and a BA in Political Science from DePauw University.
