Chris Normand

Chris Normand is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in quality engineering and management within the gaming industry. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Respawn Entertainment, Chris leads the quality engineering team for Apex Legends, focusing on gameplay AI technology to enhance development processes. Prior to this role, Chris worked at Electronic Arts (EA) for nearly a decade, holding various titles including Associate Technical Director and Lead Software Quality Engineer, where responsibilities included tool and framework development, performance metrics tracking, and quality assurance strategies across multiple game studios. Chris also has a background in team leadership and mentoring, having managed teams of over 60 individuals in QA testing and product development. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Louisiana State University.
