Maheesha Ratnayake

Maheesha 'M' Ratnayake serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Resplendent Ceylon since August 2017, overseeing a collection of luxury properties and a bespoke destination management company. In addition to current roles at Resplendent Ceylon, Maheesha holds the position of Group Director Operations and General Manager of Cape Weligama at Winfinity Holdings since April 2021, alongside founding a separate venture. Previous experience includes key leadership positions at ONYX Hospitality Group and Nobu Hospitality, as well as various roles in food and beverage management at prestigious hospitality brands such as Sandals Resorts and Marriott Hotels. Maheesha holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chichester and a Bachelor of Science in International Business from Towson University, alongside additional qualifications in strategic management and leadership.
