Amanda Lawson

Amanda Lawson is an AI Policy Manager at the Responsible AI Institute, where Amanda guides policy priorities, facilitates member assessments, and leads stakeholder engagement. Prior to this role, Amanda worked as a Briefings Assistant & Political Researcher for Maya Wiley for Mayor, a Fiscal Policy Associate for Dianne Morales for NYC Mayor, a Program Analyst and Program Coordinator on the Greater Justice NY Initiative at the Vera Institute of Justice, and the Founding Director of the Dollar Bail Brigade. Amanda holds a B.A. in Public Policy and Poverty Studies from New York University.
