We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced VP of Marketing to lead our marketing department. This pivotal role involves driving strategic marketing initiatives for our multifamily real estate portfolio, enhancing property visibility, and supporting new business development and growth. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a proven track record in the multifamily property management industry, directly impacting business objectives, KPIs, NOI, and leasing goals through high-touch marketing strategy and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Marketing Leadership:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to generate quality leads, maximize occupancy rates, and elevate brand awareness.
    • Oversee all aspects of property and corporate marketing, ensuring alignment with business goals.
    • Oversee a team of marketing experts responsible for the strategic plan and optimal marketing mix across channels to leverage the highest propensity for lease conversions 

Business Development and Client Relations

    • Develop and deliver impactful pitch presentations to potential clients, showcasing ResProp's value proposition and differentiators.
    • Lead the creation and presentation of compelling client proposals, tailored to meet the unique needs of prospective clients.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data, insights, and resources to craft persuasive proposals.
    • Ensure client relations are positive and stable with high-touch engagement as needed
  • Brand Management:
    • Establish and maintain a strong brand presence for ResProp and its properties.
    • Lead efforts to enhance brand identity and positioning across all marketing channels.
    • Drive consistency of the customer experience across all regions and all clients related to marketing support
  • Digital Marketing:
    • Drive digital marketing initiatives including SEO, SEM, social media, and email campaigns.
    • Utilize data analytics to measure performance, optimize campaigns, and refine strategies.
    • Deliver deep insight on marketing performance and ROI across the organization
  • Collaboration and Team Leadership:
    • Collaborate with internal teams, executive leadership, and external partners to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.
    • Mentor and develop the marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.
  • Budget and Performance Management:
    • Create and manage marketing budgets, monitor expenses, and optimize return on investment.
    • Develop performance reports and utilize analytics tools to measure key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Market Research and Innovation:
    • Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and inform marketing strategies.
    • Innovate and implement new marketing techniques to enhance current efforts and drive growth, while continually researching and recommending new opportunities and marketing channels.
  • Strategic Partnerships:
    • Collaborate with internal teams, particularly Operations, Revenue Management, L&D, Central Ops , and IT to develop new innovative solutions that help achieve company, department and property goals
    • Manage relationships with marketing agencies and vendors, negotiating contracts and evaluating performance.
    • Leverage internal and external resources to expand marketing capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field  (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of marketing experience in the multifamily property management industry.
  • Experience directly supporting & driving the marketing strategy for new business
    • Experience participating to a high-degree in business development
    • Proven experience in developing material preparation, in-person and virtual pitch meetings and client presentations, with a track record of securing new business and driving growth
  • Proven track record of leading and customizing marketing strategies for lease-up communities, conversions, new developments, and affordable housing projects
  • Strong knowledge of multifamily real estate trends and digital marketing tools
  • Proven experience in leading and building marketing departments for fast-growing companies
  • Superior problem-solving and negotiation skills 
  • Excellent collaboration, and leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Google Ads and Google Analytics 4, Adobe Suite and CRM systems, (current GA4, Search, Display and Measurement Certifications preferred).

  • Travel <40% Ability to work independently to complete tasks

Employment Eligibility Requirements:

  • Applicants will be required to pass a background check and reference check prior to their first day to verify their employment eligibility. For finance focused positions a credit check may also be required.
  • We operate in the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Nebraska, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas. At this time, we will only hire people who live in or will relocate to those states.
