Christopher Bontrager

Christopher Bontrager has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Their most recent position was Vice President of the Western Region at Retail Strategies, which they held since February 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Portfolio Director at the same company from March 2018 to February 2021.

Before joining Retail Strategies, Christopher had a long career in the United States Army, where they worked as an Enlisted Soldier and Commissioned Officer from 2007 to November 2018.

Christopher also has experience in economic development, having served as the Executive Director of the Marengo County Economic Development Authority from March 2017 to March 2018, and as the Vice President of C3 of Northwest Alabama E.D. Alliance from January 2016 to March 2017.

Additionally, Christopher worked as the Director's Assistant at the Macon County Economic Development Authority from April 2015 to January 2016.

Furthermore, they have experience in the education sector, having held positions at the Auburn University Athletic Department. Finally, in 2015, they completed the Auburn University Intensive Economic Development Course through the International Economic Development Council.
