Arif Ali

Arif Ali has extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Arif currently holds the position of Head of Project Management Office at RetailStat, a role they took on in October 2020.

Prior to this, Arif worked as an Independent Consultant at Training and Self Development from April 2020 to September 2020. In this role, they provided support for new startup initiatives and obtained certifications like Scrum Master Certification, PMP Certification, ITIL, and AWS training.

Before their time at RetailStat and Training and Self Development, Arif served as a Project Management Contractor at United Airlines from May 2019 to February 2020. Arif also worked as the ePMO Lead (News IT) at NBCUniversal Media, LLC from June 2017 to March 2019.

Arif's previous experience includes being a Sr. Project Manager at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from July 2013 to June 2017, and a Business Technology Manager at Pfizer from August 2004 to February 2013.

Earlier in their career, Arif held various roles at CNBC, including Technical Manager from 2000 to 2004 and Consultant from January 2000 to February 2001. Arif also worked as an IT Consultant at Pharmacia in 2001, a Senior Developer/Analyst at Dow Jones/Factiva from August 1998 to January 2000, and a Consultant at Microsoft (MSN) from May 1997 to August 1998.

Arif Ali pursued their undergraduate education at The University of British Columbia from 1987 to 1991, obtaining a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science. In addition to their academic degree, they have also obtained certifications in Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in December 2020, and Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile in June 2020.
