Revel's mission is to accelerate EV adoption in cities by providing the infrastructure and services that make it easy to go electric. Through the Revel app, users can rent electric mopeds, take rideshare rides in fully electric cars and find fast-charging stations compatible with any brand of EV. Founded in Brooklyn, NY in 2018, Revel currently operates in New York City, Washington D.C., San Francisco and Miami.

We are looking for a VP, Finance to bring us into the next phase at Revel. We are in hyper-growth mode, launching new markets and positioning ourselves as the market leader for shared electric vehicles. This is a unique opportunity to grow a company from start-up to industry standard.

Responsibilities

  • Help define our capital strategy, pitching to investors and developing fruitful partnerships
  • Partner with the Revel executive team in decision-making as it relates to strategic initiatives and operational models with a strong focus on revenue growth and profitability
  • Evaluate and advise on the impact of short and long-term planning and implementation of new strategies
  • Refine processes for financial forecasting, budgets and reporting
  • Enhance financial and accounting systems, processes, tools and controls to facilitate successful auditing and compliance with regulations
  • Lead a growing team focused on FP&A, Accounting, and Corporate Development
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with third party vendors
  • Partner with the People team in developing compensation and total rewards strategies

Requirements

  • 10+ years of financial leadership experience, at a rapidly growing organization
  • Demonstrated success fundraising for a growing company through Series B and beyond
  • Experience leading a team with the ability to support, mentor and develop employees
  • Strong analytical skills and a data driven mindset
  • Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Ability to be in New York City one week a month

Under state law and company policy, you must be fully vaccinated by your start date for any in-person work. If you are not vaccinated, you may file for an exemption before your start date. Offer is contingent upon the results (approval/denial) of your exemption.
