Karim Asaad

Karim Asaad is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the life sciences and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as Managing Director for Emerging Markets at Revvity since May 2023, Karim previously held the position of Managing Director at PerkinElmer, leading the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa division and significantly increasing revenue from $60M to $80M through strategic business development. Prior roles include Country Manager at Philips, where management spanned multiple Middle Eastern countries during a transformative period for the company, and Anesthesia Business Manager at GE Healthcare, overseeing operations across Africa. Karim holds an MBA in Marketing from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport and a Bachelor's degree in Systems & Bio-Medical Engineering from Cairo University.
