Hans Jürgen Weck

The doctorate in business administration was born in Münsterland in 1964 and has professional experience in and outside of the energy industry. The father of a daughter focuses his work primarily on the strategic-commercial area.

The first professional station of Dr. Hans-Jürgen Weck joined VIAG AG, Bonn in 1989 after studying business administration and obtaining a doctorate in the field of business administration in Münster and Rostock. From 1991 to 1997 he worked at McKinsey in Düsseldorf in the Corporate Finance/Logistics department. In 1997 Dr. Weck joined the RWE Group at the headquarters in Essen, where he took on various management functions in controlling and, from 2001, in addition to controlling electricity generation, also headed group planning and at the same time was deputy head of group controlling.

In 2003, Dr. Weck the commercial management of RWE Rhein-Ruhr Netzservice GmbH in Siegen, which with around 3,000 employees is one of the largest private providers of network technology and network services in Europe.

On July 1, 2006, Dr. Hans-Jürgen Weck appointed to the rhenag board.
