Gordon Smith

Gordon Smith has over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Gordon is currently working as an IP Optical Engineer at Ribbon Communications since January 2022. Prior to that, they were a NCR Test Engineer at ADEX TELECOM from January 2021 to February 2022. Gordon worked as a Senior Technical Support Specialist at Shaw's Freedom Mobile from September 2009 to May 2019. Before that, they worked at Nortel Networks as a Network Integration Engineer from 2000 to 2009, where they were responsible for the engineering and integration of GSM BSS projects. Gordon also worked at Rogers Communications as a FOP Technician from 1999 to 2000. In the earlier years, they worked at Ericsson as an I&C Field Ops and Bench Technician from 1995 to 1999, and at Rogers Cantel as a Service Manager from 1994 to 1995. Gordon'scareer in the telecommunications industry started as a Cellular Technician at Cantel in 1991.

Gordon Smith attended Liverpool Reginal High School from 1980 to 1983, where they obtained their High School diploma. Later, from 1989 to 1991, they enrolled at the Radio College of Canada, where they pursued a degree in Electronics Engineering Technologist with a focus on Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
