Lee Edwards has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Lee began their career at Nortel in 1985, where they worked as a Marketing Development/Sales Support Professional until 1993. Lee then transitioned to a Sales Engineer role at Nortel, focusing on Alltel and Independent Operating Companies in the western United States. In 1997, Lee became a Senior Sales Executive at Nortel, responsible for providing products and services to Alltel while driving revenue growth for the company. Lee continued in this role until 2009.

In 2010, Lee joined Lenovo as a Sales Executive, driving revenue growth for 3rd Party Options in the Americas Group. Lee supported both direct and channel sales, positioning customer solutions beyond core laptop and desktop systems. Later in 2010, Lee moved to Kentrox as a Sales Director, where they served until 2013.

From 2013 to 2016, Lee worked at Westell as a Sales Director, responsible for sales activities in the Southeast U.S. territory, including Verizon Wireless and AT&T. Lee then transitioned to GENBAND in 2016, assuming the role of Regional Sales Director. In this position, Lee was responsible for all sales activities in the Southeast U.S. territory, focusing on IOC and CLEC accounts.

Most recently, Lee joined Ribbon Communications in 2017, following the completion of the Genband and Sonus merger. Ribbon Communications acquired ECI in 2020, and Lee has been a Regional Sales Director with the company ever since. Ribbon offers a complete packet/optical solution offering.

Throughout their career, Lee Edwards has demonstrated a strong track record in sales and revenue growth, specializing in telecom and technology sectors.

Lee Edwards earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a major in Marketing from Western Carolina University, where they attended from 1980 to 1984. Then, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the Wake Forest University School of Business, which they completed between 1992 and 1994.
