Ian Currie

Ian Currie is a seasoned plant management professional with extensive experience in the oat processing industry. Currently serving as Plant Manager at Richardson International since May 2013, Ian focuses on continuous improvement and oversees all aspects of plant operations, including budgeting and personnel management. Prior roles include Plant Manager at Viterra from 2006 to May 2013, where Ian implemented lean manufacturing practices, and Quality Manager at Can-Oat Milling from 1997 to 2006, where responsibilities included developing food safety programs and quality systems. Ian began a career in food production as Production Foreman at McCain Foods from 1995 to 1997, after earning a Bachelor of Human Ecology from the University of Manitoba.
