Teah Smith

Teah Smith has a range of work experience in the education field. Teah worked as a Mathematics Teacher at Fayetteville State University from 2013 to 2022. Teah also held various roles at Richland School District 2, including Carolina Alliance for Technology Site Director, Core Engineering Instructor, and Athletic Academic Advisor, all starting in 2013. Teah also worked as an Adjunct Faculty at Benedict College from 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, they were a Mathematics Teacher at Scotland County Schools from 2012 to 2013. Teah started their career as a Graduate Assistant at Fayetteville State University from 2010 to 2012 and began gaining experience in the education field as a Student Worker (Records & Registration) at Virginia Commonwealth University from 2003 to 2007.

Teah Smith has a diverse education history. Teah obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in College Student Counseling and Personnel Services from Arkansas State University from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Arts in Teaching degree in Middle School Mathematics from Fayetteville State University between 2010 and 2012. Teah began their educational journey by completing a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Psychology at Fayetteville State University from 2005 to 2009. Recently, they obtained a certification in AVID DigitalXP: AVID Elective New from AVID Center in 2021.
