Katherine Henderson

Katherine Henderson is a Research Assistant at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, working under Dr. Dong Sun in the Department of Anatomy and Neurobiology, and has been involved as an Undergraduate Researcher in the IVY Lab and REPEAT Lab. With experience as a Paramedic and Emergency Medical Technician for Richmond Ambulance Authority since August 2021, Katherine also fulfills roles as a KHS Student Ambassador representing the Department of Kinesiology and Health Sciences, a Level II Academic Tutor, and a Research Intern in the REPEAT Lab. Additionally, Katherine served as a Chapter Member Intern for Their Campus Media from January to May 2023. Katherine holds a Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with a Life Science Concentration from Virginia Commonwealth University, and an Advanced Diploma from Powhatan High School.
