Puran Chandra Joshi

Puran Chandra Joshi has a strong background in software engineering and technology consulting. Puran Chandra has held various roles in different companies, gaining experience in both leadership and technical expertise.

From 2012 to 2017, Puran worked at Maximojo Software Pvt. Ltd, starting as a Software Engineer and eventually becoming a Technical Lead. In this role, they led a team of engineers and QA professionals, overseeing the design and development of MaxiMojo's Mantras suite of tools for the hotel industry.

In 2017, Puran joined Tavisca, a cxLoyalty Technology Platform, as a Senior Software Engineer. There, they led a team and developed a versatile rules engine for seamless travel booking using credit card reward points.

In 2019, Puran held two roles concurrently. Puran Chandra was a Senior Technology Consultant at Hexad GmbH, taking on a mentorship role and providing guidance to junior and senior engineers. Puran Chandra was also a Senior Full-stack Engineer at Volkswagen Digital:Lab (via Hexad GmbH), where they focused on streamlining the car customization and ordering process for Volkswagen dealers.

In 2019, Puran joined Technogise Private Limited as a Senior Application Engineer. Puran Chandra led a team in developing and implementing a robust bill payment module for a Singapore client expanding its operations in Jakarta.

In 2022, Puran joined SumUp as a Senior Backend Engineer. In this role, they spearheaded a team tasked with increasing customer engagement by implementing sought-after features such as split-payment solutions and gamification elements.

Most recently, in 2023, Puran joined RIDE Capital as a Staff Software Engineer.

Throughout their career, Puran has consistently demonstrated leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to fostering professional development within their teams.

Puran Chandra Joshi completed their Secondary Education from Army Public School, R.K Puram, Secunderabad, from 1996 to 2005. Following that, they pursued Higher Secondary education at Army Public School, DhaulaKaun, Delhi, in the field of Science from 2005 to 2006. Subsequently, Puran attended Delhi University from 2006 to 2008, where they studied Chemistry (Hons). Puran Chandra then enrolled at Army Institute of Technology, Pune, from 2008 to 2012, to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Additionally, Puran Chandra Joshi obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2022.
