Yuri Nascimento

Yuri Nascimento has a broad range of work experience, beginning in 2009. In 2009, they were an Intern at the Secretaria de Administração de Pernambuco, where they provided administrative support and queried data from the State's employees through the SAD-RH application. In 2011, they were an Intern at ID Tecnologia de Identificação, providing hardware support and daily activities with the IdPonto application. In 2012, they were an Intern at the Centro de Tecnologias Estratégicas do Nordeste, providing computer and network support on Ubuntu 10.04 OS and project management using Redmine. In 2014, they were an English Instructor at Wizard, teaching multi-level classes and traditional classes for adults and teens. Yuri also worked as a Research Assistant at the Center for Educational Informatics, participating in the Research Experience for Undergraduates and programming in Javascript using the game engine Unity3D. In 2016, they were an English Instructor at Instituto Salesiano Dom Bosco. From 2017 to 2020, they worked as a Software Developer at Pitang, using the .NET Framework (C#) with Angular 4, Entity Framework, Git, VSTS, SQL Server, onion architecture, and on occasions MVC. Yuri also wrote unit and functional tests (using Selenium). From 2020 to 2022, they worked as a Consultant Developer at Thoughtworks, helping clients in the global market to modernize their systems, implementing new features, refactoring legacy code, and adopting the agile culture within their teams. Finally, they are currently a Full Stack Developer at RIDE Capital.

Yuri Nascimento has a diverse educational background. Yuri obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco in 2019. From 2013 to 2014, they were an exchange student at North Carolina State University, studying Computer Science. Prior to that, they attended Instituto Federal de Pernambuco from 2007 to 2010 and SENAI - Areias from 2008 to 2009, both for the field of Eletrotécnica and Informática e Redes, respectively. Yuri also holds a number of certifications, including Asynchronous JavaScript: Promises, Callbacks, Async Await from Udemy (2021), Build NodeJS applications with Mongodb from Udemy (2021), Scrum Foundation Professional Certificate from CertiProf (2019), TOEFL from ETS Global B.V. (2012), and Scrum Foundation Certificate from CertiProf (2020).
