SVP Shared Mobility at Ride Report

Michael Schwartz has held a variety of roles in the transportation industry. In 2017, they joined Ride Report as SVP Shared Mobility and Head of Customers and Policy, where they work with city transportation professionals to get the most out of Ride Report's tools. From 2014 to 2017, they were Co-Founder and Member of the Board of Directors at Transport Oakland, where they led the endorsement process in the 2014 Oakland Mayor and City Council races. From 2008 to 2014, they were Principal Transportation Planner at the San Francisco County Transportation Authority, where they managed planning section staff and created and oversaw portions of work programs and budgets for staff. In 2007, they were an Intern at Greenbridge Developments, LLC, assisting in development design and approval for a sustainable mixed-use transit-oriented residential building. In 2006, they were a Bike and Ride Intern at the Chicago Transit Authority, writing a marketing plan for bicycle to transit initiatives. In 2004, they were a Planning Intern at Camiros, Ltd. In 2003, they were a Freelance Producer/Production Assistant at Chicago Public Radio. In 2000, they were an Account Executive at Leo Burnett, managing multiple print and TV advertising projects.

Michael Schwartz attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2005 to 2008, where they earned a Master of City and Regional Planning (MCRP) and a Master of Public Health (MPH). Prior to that, they attended Wesleyan University from 1996 to 2000, where they received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology.
