Trevor Nichols has a diverse range of work experience in the engineering field. Trevor started their career at Capitol Toyota as a Lot Attendant, where they were responsible for parking and returning cars. Trevor then moved on to work at Cal Poly Pomona Formula SAE, where they held multiple roles including Chassis Design Captain, Test Driver, and Cooling System Design Captain. In these positions, they designed and manufactured various car components, conducted heat transfer calculations, and collaborated with the aero team. After their time at Cal Poly Pomona, Trevor worked as an Engineering Assistant at Fairway Injection Molding Systems, where they designed and updated parts using Solidworks and Autocad. Following this, they joined Ford Motor Company as a Crash Safety Development Engineer, where they created and maintained test plans and guided design decisions. Trevor then became a Brake Design Engineer II at ZF Group, where they designed and modified parts using Catia and analyzed design performance. Currently, they are working at FOX Factory as a Project Lead/Application Engineer, where they create and maintains project timelines and collaborates with various groups to develop design and manufacturing plans.

Trevor Nichols attended Leigh High School from 2007 to 2011, however, the specific degree and field of study they pursued during this time are not provided. From 2011 to 2016, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
