Strategic Information Associate at RIGHT TO CARE

Mambo Makaye has a diverse work experience in various organizations. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Community Development Volunteer at the Ministry of Community Development, Mother and Child Health, where they provided teaching and home-based care services to marginalized individuals. In 2017, they served as a Community Volunteer at UNHCR and as a Facilitator and Trainer of Trainers at Copper Rose Zambia. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Senior Surveyor at Medici Land Governance Inc., leading a team of land surveyors and acting as a liaison between top management, employees, and ward councillors. In 2020, they worked as a Research Assistant at Conservation Farming Unit, focusing on climate smart agricultural practices and data collection. From 2020 to 2021, they served as a Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant at EDC, collaborating with the Ministry of General Education and partners on primary literacy programs. In 2021, they were a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at the Society for Women and AIDS in Zambia, responsible for project implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. Currently, they work as a Strategic Information Associate at Right to Care.

From 2012 to 2016, Mambo Makaye attended the University of Zambia, where they obtained a Bachelor of Adult Education degree in the field of Education and Social Sciences.
