Amelia Whiting

Amelia Whiting is an attorney currently practicing at Riker Danzig LLP, where employment began in May 2024. Previously, Amelia served as an Attorney-Adviser at the U.S. Department of Energy from September 2019 to April 2024, and held various roles including Law Clerk and Student Attorney in the Environmental Law Clinic at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. Early career experiences include a Legal Intern position at the Office of the People's Counsel for the District of Columbia and internships at the U.S. House of Representatives and Public Citizen, where work focused on environmental issues. Amelia holds a Juris Doctor in Environmental Law from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law and a Bachelor’s Degree in Community, Environment, and Development: Environmental Economics and Policy from Penn State University, complemented by a study abroad experience in French Studies.
