Dr. Karsten Engel

Dr. Karsten Engel has worked as a Director of Product Development at RIMASYS since January 2020. Prior to this, they served as a Produktmanager at SICAT GMBH & Co KG from July 2015 to January 2020.

Dr. Karsten Engel has a diverse education history with a focus on biomechanics, orthopedics, and medical engineering. Dr. Karsten earned their Dr. rer.nat. degree in Biomechanics & Orthopedics from the Deutsche Sporthochschule Köln in 2018. Prior to that, they completed their Dipl. Ing. (FH) degree in Medical & Sportsmedical Engineering from RheinAhrCampus Remagen, Fachhochschule Koblenz in 2007. Additionally, they obtained a Dental Technician certification from Hwk Koblenz in 2001.

In addition to their academic achievements, Dr. Karsten Engel has pursued additional certifications to enhance their professional skills. Dr. Karsten has completed courses such as Mastering Business Models, Mastering Business Testing, and Mastering Value Propositions from Strategyzer. Moreover, they have undergone the Manager Essentials Programm from impakt360 and has also received training in Optimal Product Management and Product Marketing from The 280 Group.
