Peter Aufner

Peter Aufner has a strong background in information security, with experience in various roles and responsibilities. From 2011 to 2017, they worked at SBA Research as an IT Security Analyst, where they conducted penetration tests, audits, and static code reviews. Peter also engaged in social engineering activities, prepared course materials, and stayed updated on the latest exploits and tools.

In 2017, Peter joined Technische Universität Graz as a Projektassistent until 2019. Here, they managed projects and contributed to the university's research work.

From 2019 to 2022, Peter worked at SGS as a Technical Lead for Penetration Testing. In this role, they focused on penetration testing and led a team.

Currently, Peter serves as the Chief Information Security Officer at RINGANA, a position they assumed in February 2022.

Peter Aufner completed their education at the following institutions:

- From 2014 to 2017, they attended Technische Universität Wien and obtained a Master's degree in Business Informatics.

- From 2011 to 2014, they also studied at Technische Universität Wien and obtained a Master's degree in Informatik.

- Additionally, from 2008 to 2011, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Informatik at Technische Universität Wien.

- Their secondary education was completed at BG/BRG Mattersburg from 1999 to 2007, where they obtained their Matura degree in Humanistisches Gymnasium.

Peter Aufner has also obtained certifications from Offensive Security and WIFI Österreich in areas such as Offensive Security Certified Professional, Leadership, Rhetoric, Verhandlungen, and DISG.
