Laura Ulmi-Bendixen

Laura Ulmi-Bendixen's work experience includes roles at various companies in the print and media industry. In 2006, they worked as an Editorial Designer at Ringier AG for the publications "Abendzeitung 'Heute'" and "Blick am Abend." In 2009, they briefly worked as a Book Designer at FONA Verlag AG. From 2010 to 2014, they held the position of Editorial Designer at Ringier AG for the publication "Blick." From 2014 to 2017, they worked as an Editorial Designer at Ringier AG for the publication "Schweizer Illustrierte" and also served as the Art Director for "SI GRUEN." In 2018, they joined viscom - der Verband der Print- und Medienindustrie as an Expert Examiner for Interactive Media Designer EFZ. In 2019, they took on the role of Expert Examiner for HF Interaction Design and HF Visual Designer at viscom. Since 2021, they have been the Team Lead for UX/UI Design at Ringier AG for the Blick Group. Additionally, since 2015, they have been a Subject Knowledge Teacher for Interactive Media Designer at Schule für Gestaltung Bern/Biel.

Laura Ulmi-Bendixen has a diverse education history. Laura obtained a Berufsmatura from the Gestalterische Berufsmatur from 2003 to 2006. Following this, they completed a Lehre EFZ in Polygrafin from the Schule für Gestaltung Aarau from 2002 to 2006. In 2012, they pursued a degree in Gestalter HF Kommunikationsdesign, Interactiondesign from HF Schule für Gestaltung Bern + Biel, which they completed in 2015. Additionally, they obtained a Zertifikatsstudiengang Berufspädagogik from Eidgenössisches Hochschulinstitut für Berufsbildung from 2016 to 2019. Laura has also earned several certifications, including a Certificate in "How to Design for Accessibility: For UX Designers" from Udemy in January 2024, DIK I & II in Berufspädagogik from Eidgenössisches Hochschulinstitut für Berufsbildung EHB in 2017, and a Gestalter HF Kommunikationsdesign/Interactiondesign from Schule für Gestaltung Bern/Biel in 2015.
