Michael Benedict

Michael Benedict is the current Principal Product Manager at RIOS. Michael has previously worked as a Member of Research Staff at PARC, a Xerox Company, from September 2017 to February 2021, researching new and breakthrough technologies across a range of fields, identifying business opportunities, and developing projects and proposals. Prior to that, they were the Manager External Research at GE Appliances, a Haier Company, from February 2014 to September 2017, where they made new technologies into products through a combination of research, design, and prototyping. Michael has also served as Lead Engineer at GE from January 2010 to February 2014.

Michael Benedict has a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Florida. Michael is certified by GE in Black Belt Lean Six Sigma.
