THE WORK:

Are you ready to lead the charge in redefining the cross-border payments landscape and redefining the world of digital assets? Ripple is seeking a multifaceted leader to join our business development team as the Senior Manager of RippleNet - Latin America. As a senior member of our team, you will orchestrate the identification and establishment of key relationships across the region, driving volume growth and building a growing ecosystem of cross-border payments solutions and crypto services powered by blockchain technology and digital assets.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter, an ambitious growth professional with a wealth of experience in business development and strategic partnerships. You possess the ability to envision how markets must adapt to support potentially paradigm-shifting technology. Your core abilities encompass business development, deal execution, partner management, digital assets/blockchain, and cross-border payments. As part of our team, you will be a self-starter who can work independently. Additionally, you bring an established network in the region with vital connections in the payments, e-commerce, digital assets, banking, and finance industries. Your expertise in collaborating with diverse cross-regional partners, both internally and externally, will be invaluable in driving our success!

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Help set the direction, strategy, and priorities for Business Development in LATAM, and influence the overall team and business strategy in the region.
  • Identify and secure relationships with strategic partners in the region ranging from payment providers, banks, fintechs, corporates, and non-FIs (with cross border needs), digital asset exchanges, and custodians.
  • Structure, negotiate, and implement sophisticated commercial deals with strategic partners to drive volume and value for Ripple’s cross-border payment and crypto-as-a-service solutions.
  • Sponsor and lead key strategic projects across the region and business; partner closely with LATAM’s Managing Director, Product, and PMM on strategy, priorities, pipeline in support of growth targets.
  • Be the primary liaison at senior levels for our partners and prospects in the region.
  • Collaborate with compliance, legal, and finance to ensure efficient and compliant strategy and deal execution.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • 10+ years of business development and strategic partnerships experience in Financial Services
  • Understand and be excited by how digital assets/crypto markets can transform cross border payments, financial services, and other growing use cases.
  • Expert negotiator with a track record of partnership building and deal-making.
  • Proven network with financial services, payments, and digital assets industries.
  • Able to engage effectively at all levels of an organization (both internally and with partners).
  • Strong curiosity about problem-solving, decision making, and troubleshooting sophisticated issues with the ability to coordinate and prioritize work.
  • Diligent to detail and a dedication to excellence.
  • Graduate and/or MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • Proficient English and Portuguese is required with Spanish as a plus.
