Stephen Hesse

Stephen Hesse has served as a Professor at Chuo University since April 1993. In addition to this primary role, Stephen has been an Affiliate at Gateway International Group, LLC. since April 2021, and has held a Board Member position at RISE Travel Institute since July 2020. As a Senior Supporter for Mirai no Mori since January 2011, Stephen has contributed to various initiatives. Stephen also served as an Environmental Columnist for The Japan Times from January 1991 to February 2015, writing the column "Our Planet Earth." Academic qualifications include a JD / MSEL in Law and Environmental Policy from Vermont Law and Graduate School (1986-1989) and a BA Joint degree in Literature and Psychology from Hamilton College (1976-1980).
