Marshall Thompson

Marshall Thompson has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Marshall started their career at Unisys as a Senior Developer, where they worked on a patient care module for a hospital system. Marshall then joined Systems & Programming Consultants (SPC) as a Senior Technical Consultant, where they provided technical expertise to various clients. Marshall then worked as a Consultant at Prima Consulting, where they took on several consulting engagements involving Visual Basic, Lotus Notes, and Java Development. Marshall continued their career at VortexMed.com as a Senior Web Developer, focusing on architecting and creating portals for medical professionals. Marshall then served as the Director of Application Architecture at Access CoverageCorp, where they were responsible for the architecture and framework of an internet application used by insurance agents.

Marshall later joined Compass Group SA as a Systems Architect before joining Premier as a Senior Developer. At Premier, Marshall played a key role in developing Premier.com and the company's intranet site. Marshall also worked as an Application Development Manager at Premier, where they managed the development of various products and contributed to the company's Agile transformation. Marshall then moved on to Bank of America, where they served as a Technical Lead on a team responsible for developing software for check deposits.

In their most recent positions, Marshall worked remotely as a Staff Engineer at Virtana, focusing on user interface development using technologies such as TypeScript, React, and Material UI. Marshall is currently working at RiskOptics as a Staff Engineer, contributing to the remote UI development of the Risk Operations Center product using technologies such as React, Redux, and Styled Components. Throughout their career, Marshall has acquired a wide range of technical skills and has played key roles in software development, architecture, and management.
