Dongyoon Lee

Dongyoon Lee's work experience begins with a role as a Software Engineer at RiskSpan from August 2019, where they implemented an ML mapping algorithm and launched data modeling web applications. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Philips from June 2018 to August 2018, where they designed a touch interface for a mobile ultrasound imaging device and developed a custom embedded Linux operating system. Dongyoon also gained experience as a Software Engineering Intern at Coinplug, Inc. from April 2017 to July 2017, working on a decentralized file authentication application and improving user experience on the company's website. Dongyoon also served in the United Nations as part of the ICT company from June 2016 to March 2017, operating switchboards, radio, and computer systems in Lebanon. Additionally, they worked as a Sergeant in the Republic of Korea Army from September 2015 to June 2016. Dongyoon's earliest work experience was as a Computational Biology Research Intern at Carnegie Mellon University from June 2015 to August 2015, where they processed images of cells and utilized statistical algorithms to predict cellular structures.

Dongyoon Lee completed their Bachelor's degree in Computational Biology from Carnegie Mellon University, from the year 2013 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at the International School of Beijing, from 2006 to 2013, where they obtained the International Baccalaureate Diploma. In addition, Dongyoon also participated in a summer exchange program at Shanghai International Studies University in 2014, specializing in Adv. Chinese I & II. Dongyoon Lee also holds an additional certification as an Advanced Open Water Diver from PADI, however, the specific month and year of obtaining the certification are not provided.
