Zachary Plata

Zachary Plata has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2013 as a Summer Camp Counselor for the Darien Park District. In 2014, they were chosen as one of five HP interns in the U.S. to work on a User-Interface (UI) analytics system. In 2015, they were a Software Engineering Intern at Cerner Corporation and a U.S. Campus Representative for Yik Yak, Inc. Zachary also served as a Teaching Assistant and Peer Mentor for the ComS/SoftE Learning Community at Iowa State University. From 2016-2018, they worked as an Associate Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineer, and Software Engineer II at Cerner Corporation, Bestow, and Compass, respectively. Lastly, in 2020, they joined Rive as a Developer Advocate.

Zachary Plata attended Iowa State University from 2012 to 2015, earning a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
