Alastair Wilson

Alastair Wilson is an experienced automotive professional currently serving as the Director of Attributes for Future Programmes at Rivian since November 2021. In this role, Alastair is responsible for the delivery of vehicle attributes for next-generation Rivian vehicles, including attribute positioning, target setting, and technical issue resolution. Prior to Rivian, Alastair held various positions at McLaren Automotive Ltd, including Vehicle Line Senior Manager for the Artura and GT Series, where responsibilities encompassed the technical delivery of chassis system components. At Jaguar Land Rover, Alastair progressed through roles such as Group Leader for Braking Performance and Project Leader for the Discovery Sport chassis, demonstrating expertise in vehicle dynamics and performance attributes. Alastair's educational background includes a degree in Automotive Engineering Design from Coventry University.
